We have added a max-width: 100% to the class .forum-avatar to prevent images being too big for the container, but this should be done via your themes css really.

If you want an absolute max width, or standard width for all avatars you could use the following css in your template:

.forum-avatar{
    max-width: 100px;/*to set max*/
    width: 100px;/*if you want all to be the same*/
    height: auto;
}

can confirm this is working, thanks lee.

one other question regarding the avatar, when you view a users profile, the avatar URL shows, eg :-

Display Name :

Avatar : http://www.xxxxxxxxxxx/images/xxx.jpg

Website :

Facebook URL :

Twitter URL :

LinkedIn URL :

Skype Username :

Signature :

Is it possible to have this as a hidden field when viewing profile?  as its there only to put the actual avatar pic onto the profile, people dont need to see the URL of it...

Added a new request for hidden on profile view here: https://clients.no-half-pixels.com/forum/118/dont-show-certain-fields-on-user-profile-view.html this should make it into the next update.
